Since our roll out of instant hair drug testing in Australia and New Zealand this great new technology has proven its value in many circumstances.

Hair drug testing for legal matters would typically be expected to require a laboratory hair test.  Given laboratory testing was the ONLY option until recently, this makes sense.

When new drug testing technologies become available it is important to understand how they can be used. Use cases are not always obvious when things have been done the same way for so long.

The below examples have proven ideal for instant hair drug screening:

Cases were the client expects to return positive hair drug test. Positive results are “readily” accepted by opposing parties, especially where there is an admission of drug use made freely by the client.

Cases where former partners agree to both use the instant hair drug screening – to save money.

Cases where the instant hair screen result is simply accepted by the opposing party or client.

In all cases above a laboratory hair test can still be pursued for any dispute arising or uncertainty around results. A bundled service can be offered with the instant screen up front and the laboratory confirmation for little to no extra costs to the client.

Workplace Use

A number of workplace applications have also been developed. We will provide an update for that sector very soon. For now, a simple use case applies for pre-employment where workers may choose to demonstrate a drug free history for 3 months to enhance their chances of employment.
